Mr. Werner brings 25+ years of local, regional and national project experience, from many sectors of the foodservice and entertainment industry to Leap Hospitality. From fine-dining, to fast-casual, hospitality to large-scale nightclubs, independents to mega-facilities, Michael has a proven track record of success. As a culinarian, owner, operator, manager and consultant, Michael brings his wealth of understanding, expertise and passion for the industry to Leap Hospitality, and his clients.

Michael’s chameleon like ability to adapt effectively to most any situation, offers fresh innovative perspectives, while systematically applying real world demands that challenge how a project can be approached from start to finish.

Michael’s focus within Leap Hospitality is concept design, development and operations, foodservice design & specification, management oversight, new store opening (NSO) and project management services.

Michael Werner is a founding member of Leap Hospitality, and has played an active role in all of Leap Hospitality’s concept design, development, NSO, and operational projects to date.

Experience and Accomplishments

-Successfully implemented and directed operations for “Streamers, Fizz, Montego‐Bag and Ménage” F&B concepts. Surpassed all company unit locations with unit sales average of $3.6 million per annum.
-Successfully developed, implemented and operated “The ClubHouse of Clayton” F&B concept. Increased revenue by 700% from 1989 – 2000 Operations earned “ Critics’ Choice” recommendations from Saint Louis Business Journal, Riverfront Times, Ladue News, St. Louis Post‐Dispatch, and St. Louis Sun.
-Developed Marketing Seminar Program for National alternative building product line specific to design/build applications for commercial and retail foodservice clients.
-Qualified and Selected to conduct on‐going “Manager‐in‐ Training” program for regional corporate‐owned units and national franchise partners. -Recognized for outstanding performance as corporate training facility General Manager, 2006 National Conference.
